About Stephen

I am not only an active practitioner, but also an artist and movement specialist who believes that therapy is a creative process.

I have been in practice since 1992 and have touched thousands of people's lives with my philosophy of healing which bridges therapeutic, educational, and creative processes.

I have a Master's degree in Clinical and Humanistic Psychology, a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, and have studied dance and movement for more than two decades. I am certified in Motional Processing©. I have extensive post-graduate training in Gestalt Therapy, Bioenergetics, Neo-Reichian Breathwork, Redicision Therapy, and Transactional Analysis. I am licensed by the State of Michigan as a Limited Licensed Psychologist and am supervised by John Varani, Ph.D., a fully licensed psychologist and professor.

I am also currently adjunct faculty at Oakland Community College, teaching courses in psychology.
